MOSS-DRESS

The first repurposed living dress and it’s connection to fertility of female factory workers

A dress that cleans the air is making it’s rounds on the internet. (Read here)

Moss-Dress is a dress made from a sun-parasol with moss growing on the skirt and tops surface. This shows the dedication of the designer towards sustainable solutions, instead of going on with harmful practices that have long-lasting severe effects for mankind, flora, fauna and fungi.

It marks the 5 years anniversary of [1/1]™, the solution for actual sustainable change and not for the agenda of some frivolous corporations, that want to monetize on greenwashing and fascism.

The fabric was part of an installation in Tirol and when a tree hit the sun-umbrella, the Designer had already made a deal with the previous owner; to repurpose this amazing one-off-a-kind fabric.

Julia was suprised by the team with the dress (as this image depicts). In the upcoming video she reacts to the dress and she is the only person to ever wear it. @julia.sczk

“Geoffrey was doing the hair and i was baffled by his ability to form hair, similarly to me forming fabric and garments.”

The process video will be released on our Youtube-Channel; Oneofone_collective with Geoffrey and Julia talking about life, their aspirations and the process of the hair-alteration.

“In the end we added dried Roses in Yellow and Red to compliment the look. It gives Julia a magical appearance, that even had the barking neighbors dog frightened enough to be silent when she entered the garden-area.”

I couldn’t be more excited about this honor to work with such extravagant materials, and the evolution of [1/1]™ should go towards fully(!) grown clothes in the upcoming future.“ - K

The first dress cleaning the air has blown up over-night and made [1/1]™ a household-name for sustainable fashion concepts.

The Moss-Dress and the accessory hanging on, at the pocket. Each fabric part has small colonies of moss on it, precisely placed on the pattern. The pattern is very peculiar; features two different raglan-sleeves and an assymmetrical button front on skirt and top.
